Meet Chef Asia…

Being an African-American woman born and raised in the South Bronx, the founder of Comfort Butter says her culinary influences are rooted in southern comfort and Sofrito. “My very first memory of food is being propped on the counter with my younger brother handing my mom different seasonings in our tiny kitchen.”

Chef Asia takes her diverse background and love for elevated flavor profiles to make comfort food new. “I want people to discover new and interesting things every time they eat my food.”
